You know how some people use the phrase, "Rule number one..."? I realized when I would talk about my photography I say my own rules. If you find this interesting I'll post ten rules bit by bit.

First 10 rules:

  1. Turn your camera on (Make sure to turn it off when you're done)

  2. Photoshop is your best friend

  3. Never lose focus

  4. Know the rule of thirds, makes things look dynamic

  5. Never think a type of lens is unnecessary, but don’t over-pack (Quite a dilemma huh?)

  6. Only take photos of what you want to take photos of (Those will be your best)

  7. Never make the person you’re taking photos of uncomfortable

  8. Don’t do this solely for money, it won’t work

  9. Best to have the sun behind you if you can help it

  10. If a photo is too much trouble for you to take, it’s your loss

I keep coming up with more but forget to try and memorize them. I'm hoping to come up with more and then reorganize them. Basing them on what I consider the most important handy tricks. If you have any questions please ask.
